Science Portfolio Sample

Description: In science we have been leaning about a food web and this week we did a lunch box food web. We had to make a poster about our lunch box. We looked at our food and researched what that food was made of, then we drew the pictures of our food and made the connections, and joined it to the sun. If you took away the sun we would die and if you took away the grass we wouldn't have lamb or cows.

Big Idea: We found out that nothing comes from the supermarket and that we rely on the sun to produce ingredients for out food. If you took away the sun we would die and if you took away the grass we wouldn't have sheep or cows.

Feedback\feedforward: Wow Tabitha I think you did a very good job but next you should fill in the gaps but other wise you did really well.

Evaluation: I agree I do need to use all the space on the poster and make the picture's better and do it to a higher quality

Inderpendent Writing tasks Week 5

Description: In cindy's writing group we have been learning what makes up a sentence, we had to find two animal pictures and write about them. 

CMIYC Defence

WALT: Defensive skills and movements
Success Criteria:
Body Movement
Weight on balls of feet
Feet shoulder width apart
Knees flexed
Concentration and eyes on ball, head and eyes up
Push hard off outside foot and go forwards to attack pass
Quick small feet, stay on balls of feet

Arms within confines of body
Take feet to ball
Land with a SBP

Body angled to see player and ball
Anticipate pass and player movement

Restrictive Marking:
Meet player as they start towards the ball/where they want to go
stay close to the attacking player
Head and eyes up, arms close to body to avoid obstruction/contact
Angle body so attacking player is ‘pushed’ away from where he/she wants to go
0.9m from ball carrier

  • Your video/s should be no more than 30secs long.
  • Capture you demonstrating the Success Criteria- Defense!

Evaluation: I think I did really well with keeping my head and eyes up, and my arms close to my body next time I could try kepping my arms within confines of body.
Feedback/Feedforward: Well done I think you did a really good job because you are  intersepting

Discovory Time

Description: Every friday we have discovory time where we learn about Excellence, Creativity, Agency and Inspiring. Today me and my friend Bella chose to make a song.  
Bella and I showed agency because Garage Band wasn't loading so we had to use sound recorder.
