Description: This term some of the year Six's worked with the teachers from Ashurst school, then came back and taught us what they had learnt, they had been learning about risks, so they taught us about taking risks in our learning, he gave us a sheet of risks and we had to number them from most risky to least risky (9 being the least risky 1 being the most risky) my most risky thing was asking a question that supports my learning. Then we made an action plan we wrote down our risk, the things\resources that we would need to complete the risk and any strategies that would help, here is mine.

Description: This term we have been doing calendar art and we have been doing self portraits and what we like. The first we had to think about what represents us and draw the ideas down. The second stage was draw our ideas onto A3 card. The third stage was to practiced using paint and pastel for our backgrounds. The fourth stage was to practice drawing our self portrait and after that we had a practice we got some card and drew the real thing. The last thing we did was the background. We used paint pastel and dye to make the background look effective. Here is a slide showing some effects we used and the finished piece.
Feedback\Feedforward: Wow Tabitha really like your art but I think that you could work on your shading but other wise you did a really good job.

Evaluation: I think I could work on my shading in, of people that I draw, but I did my best and at the end of the day that's what matters most.

Description: In ET Reo we have been learning about Whakatauki's. A Whakatauki's Is a Maori proverb. A proverb is a meaningful quote to live off and be inspired by. We learnt 2 Whakatauki's. One was He Aha Mea Nui o Te ao? He Tangata He Tangata He Tangata. (What is the most important thing in the word? The people, the people, the people) I am going to be telling you about what we did for that one. So we decided that it was about the people and we are people so we did a self portrait of our selves. And we thought we need to spice up this one wall in the class room so we painted the quote on paper and then stuck our people around it here is a picture of it...
Feedback\Feedforward: Tabitha you have a great finished product and great pronunciation of the proverb. I agree you did need a lot of help drawing but you did as much as you could and most importantly you didn’t give up and as a result of that have a great finished result.
Evaluation: This task was a challenge for me because I have never drawn a person in my life so I needed a lot of help, but I tried my best and strived for excellence. Thanks Bella for helping me draw.

Description: This term we have been doing writing, we were split into three different groups Elly's writing Troy's writing in Nic's writing. Each group was focusing on different goals Elly's was focused on sentences, Nic's group was focused on organizing ideas, and Troy's groups was focused on words.
I am in Elly's group, we made a slide to show what we have learnt.
